Japan: Another Picture Speaks A Thousand Words

I cannot describe the feelings I have as I watch the tragedy unfold in Japan. After living through the 6.9 Northridge earthquake in 1994 and watching my house crumble around me, I could not at that time imagine anything more horrific. Watching Japan suffer through three national catastrophes simultaneously is simply beyond my comprehension. There have been thousands of images that have moved me. For some reason, this photograph of a terrified panda grabbing the leg of a policemen shortly after the quake hit struck a chord with me as well:
