The Enormity Of The Tsunami That Struck Japan & The Fukushima Nuclear Plants

News media outlets are now reporting that the height of the tsunami that struck Japan following the earthquake was measured at an unimaginable 14 meters or 45 feet at the two Fukushima nuclear power plants. The power plants were only designed to withstand a tsunami of a little more than 5 meters (16 feet). The sheer enormity of this tidal wave would explain this photo:
