Smart decision as no jury would ever convict this father:
A grand jury in Texas has decided not to indict a Shiner man who made headlines last week for beating his 5-year-old daughter’s molester to death with his bare hands.
The 23-year-old, who remains unnamed to protect his daughter’s identity, was alerted by a witness to the abduction of his daughter by ranch hand Jesus Mora Flores. Flores carried the girl to an area near the family’s horse barn, where he began sexually assaulting her. Following his daughter’s screams, the father tracked Flores down and began striking him in the head and neck until he collapsed. The 47-year-old was later pronounced dead.
In a recording of his 911 call, the father can be heard pleading with the dispatcher to hurry. “Come on! This guy is going to die on me!” he exclaims. “I don’t know what to do!”
“Under the law in the state of Texas deadly force is justified in order to stop and aggravated sexual assault or a sexual assault,” said Lavaca County District Attorney Heather McMinn. The jury concurred, and declined to indict the man.
Following the incident, Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon expressed support for the man’s right to defend his daughter. “He acted in defense of his third person,” Harmon said. Shiner residents echoed the Sheriff’s remarks, telling reporters Flores got what he deserved.
I hate to speak ill of the dead, but good riddance of this parasite as I have zero tolerance for any kind of child abuse.
