I seriously have no words, only intense shame for what has become of our country:

New polling data of Republicans across the United States show that one-fifth of Donald Trump voters polled were in favor of continuing slavery.

In the poll, 1/5th of Donald Trump supporters said that they did not believe Abraham Lincoln should have signed the Emancipation Proclamation, making slaves free, according to the New York Times.

In addition to these numbers, released by YouGov, one-third of Trump voters believe that Japanese Internment during World War II was a good idea.
Also, one-third of Trump supporters in South Carolina believe that gays and lesbians should be banned from entering the United States, according to Public Policy Polling.

One of Trump’s actual ideas, banning all Muslims from entering the country, was supported by 74 percent of Republicans polled in exit polling in South Carolina.

You can find more polling data here.
