There is officially an app for everything!

Do you want to order dinner? There is an app for that! Would you like someone to walk your Dog? There is an app for that! Feeling stiff? Would you like a massage? There is an app for that, too! What about a sperm or egg donor? You guessed it! There is now an app for that!

Just A Baby released an app that will allow prospective parents to “find a surrogate, partner, co-parent, sperm or egg donor – or find someone that needs your help to have a baby.” While this may seem simple, there are a lot of potential concerns. For instance, will these potential surrogates, egg donors, and sperm donors be medically and psychologically screened by professionals? Will the app inform people of the surrogacy and egg/sperm donation laws of each state? Will each party retain independent legal counsel? The concerns are endless.

It is probably best to leave this to the professionals. This app is free, and as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.”
